Nutrient loss and recovery calculator Excel spreadsheet available

Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) have developed an Excel spreadsheet that can assist in calculating the nutrient value of food that is wasted. 

The researchers are happy to share the spreadsheet with those who, for example, wish to create educational campaigns, quantify impact or conduct research regarding wasted nutrients. The Excel spreadsheet can be used in calculating loss and potential recovery of nutrients for specific foods.
