Ask The Author recording: Considering plant-based meat substitutes and cell-based meats

On 12 March 2021, TABLE hosted an “Ask The Author” session with Raychel Santo, Brent Kim and Jan Dutkiewicz, co-authors of the paper Considering Plant-Based Meat Substitutes and Cell-Based Meats: A Public Health and Food Systems Perspective.

Ask the author sessions provide a space for an author-led discussion and reflection on a recent publication (journal article, report, etc.) on a topic relevant to food systems sustainability.

Raychel Santo began with a 5-minute presentation that highlights the findings of the research, after which the floor was opened for 40 minutes of questions and comments.

After the formal end of the event, people stayed on to continue discussing the paper for an additional 30 minutes (which was not recorded). Thank you all for your interest and enthusiasm in this discussion.
