We are seeking a Casual Research Assistant to join an interdisciplinary Oxford team working on a high-impact, policy-focused project examining how forest action in producer countries affects agricultural production, trade stability, and UK food-system resilience. The role will focus on analysing trade flow implications of forest-action scenarios across soy (Brazil) and cocoa (Ghana) supply chains, working closely with researchers and policy partners including DEFRA. Responsibilities include quantitative trade analysis, dataset processing and quality assurance, integration of findings with qualitative evidence streams, and contribution to policy briefs and research outputs.Location: Oxford-based (hybrid possible)Contract: 4 months (expected start April 2026).
