EAT is hiring an Engagement Officer to help deliver the Action Track "Objective 2: shifting to sustainable consumption patterns" of the United Nations Food Systems Summit. The role will involve developing a public engagement programme that aims at:
- raising awareness of how food systems have the potential for enhanced health of both people and planet
- elevating public discourse prior to and after the Summit to inform and influence corporate and global policy priorities
- promoting successful strategies for improved education on, and behaviour change for, shifting sustainable and healthy consumption patterns
Candidates should have extensive experience organising and managing digital and physical multi-stakeholder events and dialogues both at the national and international level, the ability to manage relationships and be a point of contact for external stakeholders, demonstrable experience coordinating and drafting post-event briefings and reports, and familiarity and/or expertise with nutrition and culinary strategy development.
