The IFST, a UK-based body for food professionals in Europe, has commissioned a report aimed at identifying areas of future work which they feel would be of most use to their members. The report focuses on food sustainability,  technology and evidence-based practice. 

Recommendations for broad activity areas are made under each of these themes:

  1. Resource risks and pressures
  2. Healthy sustainable diets
  3. Circular economy and sustainable manufacturing
  4. Novel production systems and ingredients
  5. Decent work and equitable trade
  6. Transparency, traceability and trust

Three approaches for sustainable agriculture and their relationship with nature: a view from Colombia
In early 2024, the MESA team held a workshop in Colombia. The discussion in the room framed the main similarities and differences in relation to nature for each of three agricultural approaches: organic agriculture, agroecology and regenerative agriculture. Camilo Ardila Galvis joined TABLE in December 2023 as part of the team at the University of the Andes (School of Government) in Colombia.
