Published in February 2009 by the British Frozen Food Federation (supported by the Carbon Trust) this report which investigates the scope for improving the energy efficiency of the cold chain. It the results of a practical investigation of storage temperatures in the frozen food industry and is aimed at identifying energy savings and the related CO2 emission reductions related to improved temperature management in frozen food manufacturing and in cold stores.
