Working in partnership with TABLE as part of the Reckoning with Regeneration project, Food Foundation have developed a briefing paper exploring the possible implications of regenerative agriculture for diets and food security.

Publisher's summary

Regenerative Agriculture aims to generate farming systems that yield environmental benefits, yet it has no fully agreed, formal definition.

For some, it is simply a more sustainable way of farming and a set of on-farm production practices, while for others, it’s a movement which offers the potential to shift both production and consumption practices towards a new model, supporting a paradigm shift in food systems and a just transition towards healthier and more sustainable, diverse diets and enhanced food security.

This briefing explores some of these claims, asking whether a food system based on Regen Ag could help enable healthier (and more sustainable) diets for citizens, as well as improved food security.
