The King’s Foundation is recruiting for an Education Manager to oversee our farming and rural skills education initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver a strategic vision for education in farming and rural skills: a key focus of the role is taking a strategic and operational role in the development and implementation of education activity, training programmes and public events.
A key aspect of the role is to develop, oversee and deliver the education strategy for the MacRoberts Centre for Farming and Rural Skills, establishing it as a nationally recognised centre of excellence. The post holder will also be responsible for the strategy and operation of Valentin’s Farm, ensuring that both centres provide engaging and relevant programmes tailored to the needs of their audiences.
This role will be central to the development of farming and rural skills education at The King’s Foundation. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of a network of affiliate educational institutions, industry partners, placement providers and supporters; as well as managing a small team of tutors, technical support and consultants.
