The International Trade Centre published a report in October 2007 arguing that a ban on organic air freighted products (currently being considered by the Soil Association) would leave the livelihoods of at least 21,500 people "seriously compromised".
The ITC is the joint technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
