Transforming urban food systems: could food democracy and food citizenship be advanced by personal and community impacts of co-production processes?
This research explores how capacities for food citizenship and changemaking emerged via participation in large-scale food systems co-production. It uses creative and participatory methods including poetic inquiry and collage. It concludes that personal and social outcomes from co-production could support urban food systems transformation by creating conditions and capacities for food citizenship and food democracy; potentially catalysing further collective action.

Counter vs Corporate: A tale of two farming conferences
In early January, the TABLE team were out in force for two of the biggest farming events in the UK: the Oxford Farming Conference and the Oxford Real Farming Conference. Taking place at the same time, these two events represent very different perspectives, reflecting not only the divergence in food and farming debates, but the consensus, too. In this edition of FODDER, I talk to TABLE researchers, Ruth Mattock and Richard Kipling who attended the two conferences.

¿Qué nos preocupa más en México sobre los sistemas agroalimentarios? (Reporte)
En el marco del lanzamiento de la plataforma de diálogos MESA México, un proyecto de colaboración internacional que busca explorar y comprender las diferentes perspectivas sobre el presente y futuro de los sistemas agroalimentarios, se realizó un taller presencial y virtual que tuvo como objetivo identificar las principales problemáticas de la alimentación y la agricultura mexicana. Es en este contexto, que se presentan los resultados del taller, con la intención de reflexionar y profundizar en la discusión sobre las tres primeras problemáticas seleccionadas como las más importantes por parte de las/os participantes, a partir de las cuales se pretende abrir el diálogo y el debate sobre lo más relevante de los sistemas agroalimentarios en México.

What concerns us most in Mexico about agrifood systems?
As part of the launch of the dialogue platform MESA Mexico, an international collaboration project that seeks to explore and understand the different perspectives on the present and future of agrifood systems, an on-site and virtual workshop was held to identify the main problems of Mexican food and agriculture. It is in this context that the results of the workshop are presented, with the intention of reflecting and deepening the discussion on the top three issues selected as the most important by the participants, in order to open the dialogue and debate on the most relevant issues of agrifood systems in Mexico.
