Edited By Keith Smith Nitrous oxide, N2O, is the third most important (in global warming terms) of the greenhouse gases, after carbon dioxide and methane. As this book describes, although it only comprises 320 parts per billion of the earth's atmosphere, it has a GWP nearly 300 times greater than that of carbon dioxide.

CBI/PWC on GHG reporting

In 2009 the CBI and Price Waterhouse Coopers released this practical guide for companies on reporting greenhouse gas emissions based on a fictitious company, 'Typico plc'. The template illustrates how companies can report their strategy, targets, performance and benchmarking of a company's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and adapt to climate change. It also demonstrates how to connect emissions reporting data with financial data.
