Candidates will be expected to have a PhD in food security, food policy and/or food justice or a related field relevant to this post or, if from a professional practice background, a Master's qualification together with significant professional practice experience. We are looking for candidates with a background and broad knowledge across food systems who can deliver teaching on the MSc Sustainable Food Systems and on our other food systems modules. They should have experience of teaching and assessment at an HEI. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of devising and delivering teaching.

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate how they will keep abreast of latest developments in this subject area and external best practice benchmarks.

The successful candidate will be supported in this role by an experienced senior lecturer as a mentor. The School provides staff development funds to support personal and subject related training for academic staff.
