Coventry University is inviting applications from suitably qualified graduates for a self-funded PhD project on the feasibility of integrating vertical farming and automated food processing with an indoor transport delivery system. The main objective is to determine what effect vertical farming has on the food supply chain. The project would propose strategic considerations for the commercial implementation of vertical farms in cities.
