Critical to the success of these advances is our Safety and Environmental Assurance Centre (SEAC). SEAC is dedicated to protecting consumers, employees and the environment at every stage of a product's lifecycle. Partnering with colleagues through the company, we are recognised externally as a global leader in safety and sustainability science.

Opportunities with SEAC listed below. All roles can be worked under a hybrid arrangement (combination of office and home working).

Junior Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Analysts & Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Analysts / Senior LCA Analysts: To work with colleagues from across Unilever's businesses to better understand the environmental impact of our products, help drive strategy, innovation and sourcing to reduce environmental impacts, and provide technical input to advocacy activities.

Sustainability Scientists: To conduct collaborative research in partnership with leading universities, organisations and industrial groups. This will be focused on advancing life cycle and related approaches needed to assess the environmental sustainability of business actions. Publishing and presenting at international conferences and providing technical input to advocacy activities are in scope for these roles.

Sustainability Science Leader: To develop science strategy and partnerships as well as conducting collaborative research in partnership with leading universities, organisations and industrial groups. This will be focused on advancing life cycle and related approaches needed to assess the environmental sustainability of business actions. Publishing and presenting at international conferences and providing technical input to advocacy activities are in scope for these roles. Translation of new scientific approaches into direct business application will also be a key part of the role.
