Joint Nature Conservation Committee

The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) is the statutory adviser to the UK Government on UK and international nature conservation working at the science-evidence-policy interface. It is seeking a senior adviser. 

The post holder will be responsible for developing opportunities to deploy JNCC’s capabilities in biodiversity evidence, as well as the modelling of ecosystem services and natural capital within the Environmental Land Management programme in England. The post holder will also develop a UK-wide perspective, understanding the policy drivers and development of Common Agricultural Policy replacement schemes in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and subsequent demonstrable relevant experience are required.
