The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) provides research-based policy solutions to sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition in developing countries. The intern will join the Poverty, Health, and Nutrition Division (PHND) to provide research support to the SELEVER study, which aims to address key knowledge gaps on the impact of poultry value chain interventions on the diets, health and nutritional status of women and children.
Applicants should currently be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master or be a recent Masters graduate (within 6 months) in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Epidemiology, International Development, or a related field. Knowledge of a statistical package (such as R or strata) and prior coursework in applied econometrics/statistics are required.
