The organisers of the 3rd Food and Drink as a Curse International Interdisciplinary Conference are welcoming proposals for papers that explore various aspects of “food and drink as a curse”.
Possible themes for presentations include, but are not limited to: the environment, foodborne and food related diseases, food-related health issues, food scarcity, food terrorism and weaponisation, folktales, literature and mythology, sumptuary laws, manipulation, elitism, disruption, power, modern food and drink, and fast food and sugary beverages.
Submissions should include the title of the presentation, an abstract of no more than 500 words, a brief biography of the presenter or presenters, and contact details.
