After the first successful virtual conference in 2020, The Food Systems in Small Islands and Developing States (FSSIDS) network is pleased to announce that the second conference will be held in-person in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 7 to 9 September 2022.
The FSSIDS 2022 conference, titled "Towards Resilient Food Systems", will gather the multidisciplinary community of different academic or professional backgrounds whose work focuses on small islands and developing states in the Asia Pacific region, especially Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. The conference aims to build on the lessons learnt and advance the discussion on achieving food systems resilience in the face of environmental, socio-economic, and political turbulence.
A discount of 20% is available for early registration, which ends on 31 July 2022 (deadline extended). Groups of three students attending in person can also receive a special discount.
